EcoBio-Block for
Environmental Applications
yellow fish

"Just thought I'd tell you
what a wonderful product you have. I purchased the pebbles for a twenty gallon tank, within 3 weeks I could see the water clearing nicely and the
fish seem to be perking up and water tests are all leveling off nicely and thats only 4 weeks. Very impressive...maybe when sales start to go through the roof you could lower the prices a little.....fixed income hobbiest"

Clarify Cloudy Aquarium and Pond Water, and Keep Your Fish Tank and Water Features Clear and Healthy with EcoBio-Block Family Products.
EcoBio-Block's unique formula contains beneficial bacteria that keep water clear and odor-free, and create a healthy environment for fish for years.
Starting a new tank or pond and clarifying cloudy aquarium water or pond water is easy with EcoBio-Block (EBB) Family Products. (EcoBio-Block, EcoBio-Rock, EcoBio-Pebbles, EcoBio-Stones, EcoBio-Block nsM and EcoBio-Block Wave). They are made of a paste mixture containing mineral-rich, porous volcanic stones, special cement, nutrients, and beneficial bacteria (bacillus subtilis natto - the same type of bacteria found in the Japanese delicacy "natto") sealed in a live and propagable state.

When EBB bacteria come in contact with water, they immediately propagate, releasing millions of EBB bacteria that multiply every half hour. The beneficial bacteria then degrade organic matter. This deodorizes and clarifies cloudy fish tanks and ponds. EcoBio-Block is unique because the bacteria live in the block, making it unnecessary to add new bacteria for about 2 years. (Pond product lasts up to 3 years.) Because the bacteria propagate quickly, EcoBio-Blocks shorten or eliminate "new tank syndrome".

EcoBio-Block Family Products help to rapidly oxidize dangerous ammonia first into nitrite and then into safer nitrates. Nitrates are naturally eliminated by plant absorption, as well as by microbes living in gravel which convert nitrates into nitrogen gas which then evaporates from the tank. EcoBio-Block encourages the growth of these anaerobic microbes, greatly reducing nitrates in the fish tank or pond.

EcoBio-Block's volcanic stones leach necessary calcium and trace minerals into the water to create a healthy environment for aquatic life.

With EcoBio-Block Family, fish can live in clear, healthy water for years.

how EcoBio-Block products work

EcoBio-Block Products contains beneficial bacteria which propagate every 30 minutes, naturally clarifying
and deodorizing cloudy aquarium and pond water.
EcoBio-Block's Nitrification Process
Beneficial bacteria in EcoBio-Block multiply and disperse into surrounding waters. The beneficial bacteria effectively decomposes
organic matter and maintain the nitrogen cycle for years, clarifying cloudy aquarium and pond water.

 Water Quality Test

Water quality was tested in two identical aquariums, one with and one without EcoBio-Rock. Both contained 20 freshwater fish. Aquarium with EcoBio-Rock showed significant water quality improvement. Picture was taken after 134 days.

 EcoBio-Block 2 year test result
    November 27th, 2006       June 27, 2008                 October 3rd, 2008

Fish Species: Longear Sunfish, Orange-spotted sunfish and Pumpkin Seed - 12 fish in 20 gal. tank, ranging in size from 4" to 7". We started the tank with three plants, but the fish gradually nibbled them away, so we took the stumps out. We put background paper behind the glass for aesthetics. In June, we decided to add back a few plants for aesthetics (and for nibbling!)

 Our In-House Test

Every month, from November 27th, 2006 to October 3rd. 2008, a photo was taken of our home aquarium. As you can see, the aquarium water remained clear and fish healthy.
